GLSEN's 2022 Educator of the Year will earn a free trip to be recognized at the GLSEN 2022 Respect Awards — New York on May 16th!

GLSEN's Educator of the Year Award celebrates K-12 educators for outstanding accomplishments and steadfast commitment to amplifying LGBTQ+ student voices; helping promote inclusive social, racial, and disability conversations in the classroom; and creating affirming learning environments that highlight LGBTQ+ visibility. Current full-time or part-time K-12 educators in the U.S. (from cafeteria workers to coaches, nurses to principals) are eligible for this award.

Nominations close on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Finalists will be selected and interviewed in March and April.
